What do I need to bring?
We supply all the tackle, bait and ice, so all you'll need to bring is your lunch and/or snacks, drinks, sunscreen and yourself!
How many people can we have in our party?
For safety and comfort, we can accommodate groups of up to 4 people.
Can I bring my kids?
We certainly welcome the whole family! We don't have an official age limit due to the differences in each child's maturity level, so we leave that up to you. If you feel that your child can handle a full day at sea then we would love for him or her to join us!
Do I need a fishing license?
No. The boat holds a blanket license which covers all anglers on board.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
You must notify us at least two weeks prior to your charter in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. If the captain is forced to cancel a trip due to weather or other circumstances, we will do our best to reschedule the charter for you. If we are unable to accommodate you on a makeup day, you will receive a full refund.
Can I bring alcohol?
Legally, only wine and beer is allowed on our boat, so as long as you leave your bucket o' margarita at home it's fine with us! But please note that the captain reserves the right to cut a charter short due to unsafe or unruly behavior, so we hope that you'll try to keep yourself in check.
Will I get seasick?
We sincerely hope not, but the possibility always exists. Dramamine can be a lifesaver, but if you're prone to motion sickness, you may want to look into prescription options before you arrive.
What happens if there is an emergency?
The Albatross is well-equipped with all the recommended safety equipment, including an epirb, satellite weather service, radar and VHF radio to keep our passengers as safe as possible.
Will my cell phone work on board?
Unfortunately, your cell phone will not work for offshore or gulfstream trips, but it may work if we are fishing inshore.
